Dawn Marie Foster, 79, of Rotonda West passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 after a brief illness. Born on December 14, 1936 in Johnson City, NY to the late Dominick Giovanni and Sue Litchko; she was raised in Binghamton. Her working career was in banking and secretarial office management. She lived many years in Conklin, NY, Pennellville, NY and Byfield, MA, prior to retiring to Florida. Dawn and her late husband, Ed enjoyed the Florida lifestyle for over twenty five years, going to the beach, boating, relaxing by their pool. She enjoyed bowling for many years and was league secretary for a number bowling leagues. She also enjoyed playing cards and attending church luncheons with her many friends. Dawn was predeceased by her husband of 59 years: Edward F. Foster in February 2016. Survivors include one sister in law Mary Johnson, Hiawassee GA, cousins in NY, NH and Portugal; many nieces and nephews in NY, FL and GA. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all of her family.

Services will be held Saturday 12 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with Deacon Thomas Harley of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Endicott, officiating. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Saturday from 11 am until service time at 12 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Tidewell Hospice, lnc., 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238 in memory of Dawn Foster.
