Alice J. Creech

August 19, 1950 — April 2, 2026

Endicott

Alice Jennie Creech, 75, went to be with her Lord on April 2nd, surrounded by the love she so freely gave throughout her life. She was welcomed into eternity by her beloved husband, William Creech, who went before her in 1996, a reunion long awaited and now made whole.
Born on August 19, 1950, in Delaware County, she was the cherished daughter of George and June Hasser. Alice graduated from Hancock Central School in 1969.
Alice lived a life marked by love, service, and deep devotion to others. She poured herself into her family, her extended family, her church, her friends, and her community. Whether through a kind word, a helping hand, or simply her presence, she made people feel seen, cared for, and valued. She worked and retired as a Home Health Aide, a role that perfectly reflected her compassionate heart and desire to serve. Alice was also a gifted artist, expressing beauty and creativity in ways that blessed those around her.
Alice was a remarkable woman who was always on the go and never slowed down. She was Vice-President of the Legion Mary, Mother of the Church Praesidium. An active member with the St. Ambrose Altar Rosary Society. Eucharistic minister and Altar server. She was a daily communicate and spent hours in adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. A member of Nocturnal Adoration. Faithful participant in America Needs Fatima Rosary Rally. A member of the Confraternity of Most Holy Rosary. Alice was a proud member of the Franciscan Order since 1980. Even after retirement, through Faith in Action, she volunteered her work in Home Health. She also volunteered at Mother Theresa’s Cupboard, a local pantry service through Catholic Charities of Broome County. Faith was the foundation of her life. Her actions were purposeful and always intended for the Lord.
She is survived by her children, Charity, Jason, Sarah, and Elizabeth; her cherished grandchildren, Ash, Alicia, Alex, Arianna, Hazel, and Edison; her son-in-law Joseph; her sister Georgette; and her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members, and dear friends. Alice’s life cannot be summed up in a few short paragraphs, but those who knew her will remember her as someone who gave endlessly, loved deeply, and lived faithfully. Thank You Alice, for the way you loved us all.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ambrose Church, 203 Washington Ave, Endicott, NY on Thursday April 9th 2026 @11am. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mother Theresa’s Cupboard. Contact Catholic Charities of Broome County for details on how to support this local initiative in Alice’s name.
