Anthony Thomas Konchar, 64, of Endwell, NY, passed away at UHS Wilson Medical Center on June 23, 2026.

He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony Wayne Konchar and Elizabeth Jean (Gordon) Konchar, and sister Louise Konchar.

Anthony is survived by his wife, Lisa Marie (Hermanovitch) Konchar, of Endwell, NY, his brother David P. Konchar, of Forest City, PA, his brother John P. Konchar and his wife, Nancy, of Eynon, PA, his brother Michael M. Konchar and his wife Sally, of Throop, PA, his sister Elizabeth Ann Konchar of Forest City, PA, his brother Kenneth S. Konchar and his wife Dawn, of Blakely, PA, his brothers-in-law, Michael C. Hermanovitch of Endwell, NY, and Steven Hermanovitch and his wife, Judy, of Leola, PA, and several cousins, a niece and a nephew, and family through marriage. .

Anthony was a devoted husband and loved his family deeply. He was a member of the Church of the Holy Family in Endwell, NY and its Holy Name Society. Earlier in his life, he worked as a Memorialist with his family’s monument business, Forest City Memorials in Forest City, PA. Regardless of other employment he held over the years, designing monuments was his passion, and he loved to keep up with the latest industry trends. Anthony felt it was very important that every person is remembered, and that a well-designed monument is a fitting tribute.

Anthony loved meeting people and was a very humble and kindhearted man. His faith in Jesus was his anchor, and it guided him throughout his life, especially in his later adult life. He will be sorely missed by his family and all who knew him.

A Funeral Mass for Anthony will be held on Saturday July 25th at 11 am at Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell. The family will receive friends at Church from 9 am until Mass time at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, Mercy House of the Southern Tier, or March for Life.
