Anthony Ruffo, 93, of Endicott, died peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family on December 24, 2018. Anthony was a man who cared deeply for his wife, daughters, grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife Lillian (Cioci) Ruffo; sister Angie Visconti, son in law Frederic Marks Sr. and grandson James Shady. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Ruth, two daughters Deborah (Daniel) Fike, and Rosemarie Marks, his granddaughter Domenica (Jonathan) Burns, three step grandchildren Frederic Marks Jr., Melissa Merlino, and Daniel Fike Jr. He also has five great grandchildren Micah and Karis Burns, and Trenton Shady, Abby Rose Marks, and Kira Lee Emmrick. Anthony served his country in the Navy, and Marines during W.W.II and the Korean War as a medic. He was a kind and humble man who will missed by all who knew him.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 1 pm from St. Joseph’s Church 207 Hayes Ave Endicott. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home 511-513 East Main Street Wednesday from 11 am until 12:30 pm.
