Audrey Peters

Audrey Marie Peters 89, of Apalachin, New York passed away on September 22, 2022 after an extended illness.
She was predeceased by her parents Hans and Edna Hinrichsen, husband Ward, daughter Becky Gaynor; son-in-law Scott Schramm; grandson Tim Swindler, and great granddaughter Janelle Swindler.
She is survived by daughters Jill Schramm and Shari (Robert) Gaynor, son-in-law Bill Gaynor, grandchildren Joshua Swindler, granddaughter-in-law Amy Swindler, Lee, Mallory, and Andrew Gaynor, great-grandchildren Corbin, Jupiter, Rayne, and Landen; brother William Hinrichsen; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Audrey was a hard worker who passed that trait onto her family. She was frequently referred to as “big bad grandma” for her efforts in advocating for the needs of her family. She lived and died on her own terms, and will be greatly missed. Mom, your mind and body are at peace now. It’s time to rest.
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday 12 pm at the Allen Memorial Home 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. Visitation will be held from 11 am until the time of service at 12 pm. Burial will follow at Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
