Barbara June Yarrington

Barbara June (DuBois) Yarrington, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age
of 93, on September 23, 2026. She was a life-long resident of Union Center, NY.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Clayton and Lois DuBois. She was also
predeceased by all five of her siblings, including her brothers Erwin and Harold,
and her sisters Mildred, Doris, and Fern. Barbara was predeceased by her former
husband Thomas Yarrington as well.

She is survived by her sons, Randy (Patti) Yarrington, Dale (Amanda) Yarrington
and Mark Yarrington. Barbara is survived by her grandchildren, Julie (Jason)
Yager, Jason Yarrington (Lindsay Aulin), Cody (Beth) Yarrington, Tom Yarrington,
Trevor (Alex) Yarrington, and Ryan (Alexandra) Yarrington. She also had
great grandchildren whom she absolutely adored, Jillian, Jackson, Thora, Breanna,
Dominic, Avery, and Eleanor, along with a great-great-granddaughter, Vivianna.

Barbara will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews who loved their aunt
very much and whom she loved dearly. She had many special friends who will
miss her as well. Barbara’s most valued gifts in life were her family and friends.
She loved her family very much and knew an amazing amount of family history.

Barbara was a long-time member of the Union Center United Methodist Church.
She worked for United Methodist Homes, which led her to continue working
privately by providing kind and loving care for several people.

We would like to thank all her caregivers at the Ideal Senior Living Center for the
care and kindness given to Barbara during her stay there. In lieu of flowers, we ask
that donations be made to UHS Senior Living at Ideal. At Barbara’s request, there
will be no formal services.
