Bernadine (Battaglini) Tuthill, 68, of Endwell, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, Saturday, February 28, 2015. She is predeceased by her parents Armond and Josephine Battaglini; paternal grandparents Joseph and Filomena Battaglini and maternal grandparents Mariano and Agatha Anelli. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Richard; three daughters Amy (Wesley) Kreitz; Bethany (Daniel) Bunts and Megan Tuthill; grandchildren Wesley; Wilson; Evan; Tyshaun and Iyana; her brother Michael (Julie) Battaglini; sister Eileen (Rick) Buckingham; also several nieces; nephews; cousins; aunts and special friends, especially Lucy Caciola. Bernadine was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Endicott, retired employee of Singer Link and former employee of Datrose and CASA. Some of her many enjoyments in life were cooking for family and friends at family gatherings, her grandchildren, the loves of her life and summers at the beach. Her family would like to thank the staffs of Lourdes Hospice, especially Mary Consentino, Home Instead Senior Care, especially Cecila, Yesteryears, Golden Days, Wood Elder Care and Dr. Mikloecicn.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Tuesday evening from 5-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 401 Hayes Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760.
