Betty Carolyn Rudginis

Carolyn Rudginis 90 passed away peacefully in her home on May 7 2025 in Whitney Point, NY.
Carolyn lived a life marked by compassion, dedication, and service to her community. She was a devoted member of the Whitney Point Methodist Church. Although in later years she was not able to attend in person she faithfully kept up via Facebook.
Carolyn was a loving and supportive presence to her family. She is remembered with deep affection by her children: David, Susan and Linda (Neal). Carolyn cherished her grandchildren: Frank, Erin and Kayla, and great-grandchildren: Frank, Lilly, Rose, and John. She will also be remembered by her brothers Lee and Chuck and sister Judy, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Franklin, her parents Beatrice and Chauncy DePue and her sister Sharon.
A generous volunteer throughout her life. She gave her time to the local food pantry and participated in the Sew-N-Sew’s group. She often spoke of her time volunteering at the Northern Broome Senior Center.
Her kindness extended beyond people - she had a special place in her heart for animals and dearly loved her dogs Calvin and Ellie.
Carolyn’s legacy of warmth and service will be remembered by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to all those she touched.
