Bradley Coon, age 35, passed away unexpectedly on July 6, 2026.
Bradley was born on April 12, 1991, in Binghamton, New York, to John and Lynne Coon. He was raised in Whitney Point, New York, where he attended school and played lacrosse.
Bradley proudly served as a Police Officer with the Binghamton Police Department, a profession that meant a great deal to him. He considered it an honor to serve his community, and he took immense pride in wearing the badge and standing alongside his fellow officers. His commitment to public service reflected his strong sense of duty, loyalty, and desire to help others.
An avid outdoorsman, Bradley found peace and happiness in nature. He especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping, and cherished every opportunity to spend time outdoors.
Above all else, Bradley's greatest source of pride and purpose was his 12-year-old son, Hugo Kupillas. Being Hugo's father was the role he cherished most, and he worked every day to be a loving, devoted, and dependable dad. Some of Bradley's happiest memories were made with Hugo, spending time together on the baseball field or enjoying their treasured movie nights. The love and bond they shared were among Bradley's greatest accomplishments. They were also devoted dog owners and adored their two dogs, Diego and Astro, who were loyal and faithful companions to them.
Bradley was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Bradley; his grandmother, Pearl Gillette; and his uncle, Jim Coon.
In addition to his parents, John and Lynne Coon, Bradley is survived by his beloved son, Hugo Kupillas and his sister Amanda Coon. Also, he is survived by his grandmother, Marilyn Bradley. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles: Bruce Bradley (Ellen), Stephen Bradley (Nelida), Lisa Chrystler, Chris Bradley (Amy), Janice Moore (Dick). Bradley also shared his life with companion Courtney Guiton. He has many close friends and colleagues who will deeply miss him.
Bradley also was survived by close cousins Elizabeth Chrystler (David), Sarah Chrystler (Noah and Poppy), Kristen Howell (Henry), Christopher Bradley, Aaron Coon (Lizi), and Adam Coon.
His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched and, most especially, through the son he loved so deeply.
Funeral Services for Bradley will be held on Thursday July 16th at 6 pm at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main Street, Endicott. The family will receive friends on Thursday at the Allen Memorial Home from 3 pm until Service time at 6 pm.
