Bruce A. Beebe, 46, NY ANG ~ S/Sgt, of Endicott passed away at home on Tuesday, 29 January 2013. Bruce was predeceased by his brother, James Ray Beebe, 10, while living in Turkey as an Air Force family; his paternal grandparents, Joe and Helen Beebe, his maternal grandparents, Ted and Bessie Eck. Bruce is survived by his two children, Phillip Ray Beebe and Natalie Sharon Beebe and their mother, SFC Tammy Gagnon; his parents, Ray and Barbara Beebe both of Endicott; his brothers Gary Beebe of New Jersey, Joseph Beebe of Mexico; his sister, Helen Beebe of Rockville, Maryland and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Bruce was born at Dover AFB, Delaware and raised in an Air Force family having lived at Andrews AFB, Maryland, Incirlik AB, Adana, Turkey, Dover AFB, DE and back to Incirlik AB, Adana, Turkey where he graduated in 1984 returning to the United States in 1984. Bruce lived with his family and whereupon, he entered the USAF serving at Luke AFB, AZ in 1985-89, returning home to Endicott and was employed by the Universal Fence Company for many years and New York Army National Guardsman of the 204th Combat Engineer Battalion at the West End Armory and having been deployed to New York City during the 9-11 Disaster, Guatemala, Germany and in OEF in Afghanistan and many other NY and Stateside Emergencies as the NY ANG is the Governor’s Army. Bruce was a Dual member of GFJ American Legion Post 1700 as a Legionnaire and a SAL member. He loved his children dearly and enjoyed the 5K races with his son, Phillip, taking both Natalie and Phillip to the “Chucksters” playing miniature Golf and enjoying many family trips and picnics. Family will receive friends and family at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott Sunday from 2-5 pm.and Monday morning a service at 9:30 am followed with the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 10 am, with the Burial at Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. Donations may be made to the FRG at the West End Armory, Binghamton of the 204th CEB.
