Bruna Marie Magliocca-Hovancik 46, of Endicott, became our special guardian angel on October 15, 2013. She was predeceased by her beloved nephew Bobby Monticello. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Hovancik; her son Anthony; her loving parents Raimondo and Italia Magliocca; her sisters, Sandra DeFazio (Tom), Renee Masciarelli (Frank); all of Endicott, her in-laws, Norbert and Shirley Hovancik; several aunts and uncles including Vincent Funari (Josephine); several nieces and nephews including, Taylor, Cristina, Marco; several cousins; and many special friends, including LaRue, Lorrie, and Yvette. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott. She was employed by Broome County and also was the book keeper for R.B. Magliocca General Contracting and Paving. She was an amazing daughter, sister, mother and aunt. Her son Anthony was her pride and joy. She was devoted to him. She will be missed by all. “A great soul never dies, it brings us together”.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 10 am. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Friday from 4-7 pm.
