Carl "Bub" Boyer

Carl "Bub" Boyer, Union Center, NY, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the home of his close friends, Fran and Amber, after a hard fought battle with cancer. Bub was predeceased by his parents, Carlton and Marie Boyer. He is survived by his sister, Rosemarie Stevens (Dale), Erin Stevens (Chris) and her children Kaylee and Jesse Williams. Lacey Stevens (Andrew) and Lindsey Stevens (Matt). His family would like to give a very special thank you to Amber Creller and Fran Cerroni, who opened their home for his last days, the Walter family- Martha, Ron, Luke, Brett, Ryan and Ben, as well as Craig, Howard and Shawn. You all meant the world to him.
Bub will be forever remembered for his love of cars, trucks and all things automotive. He was the "Master of the Deal", looking on Marketplace for things to flip. He was always helping someone out in his own quiet way.
We will be celebrating Bub on Friday, September 12 at the Union Center Methodist Church, Maple Drive, Endicott. A time of visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00. Please come and share stories with us. After, we will be sharing one of Bub's favorite meals - Spaghetti and Meatballs and Banana Cream Pie!
Bub's family would like to say a very special thank you to the Guthrie Hospice care providers. We couldn't have gotten through this without you. Also, to the team at Broome Oncology, and Radiology for your support. We can't forget to thank Dr. Michael Federico, Endwell Family Physicians, who cared for Bub for many years.
