Chuck Sinclair

December 25, 1961 — June 8, 2025

Endicott

Chuck Sinclair, 63, of Endicott, NY passed away Sunday, June 8th, in his home surrounded by his loved ones after a long courageous battle with cancer.
He is predeceased by his mother and father, Norma and Franklin Sinclair, and his beloved dog Lola Girl.
He is survived by his four handsome sons, Jeremy, Cody, Jesse and AJ Sinclair; his loving partner Linda Butchko Topencik; his kitty cat Casey; Brothers Terry (Vanessa) Sinclair, Scott (Katrina) Sinclair, Dave Sinclair, Daniel (Leslie) Sinclair; Sisters Valerie (Richard) Veld, Karen Serkiz, his many nieces and nephews and many close friends.
Chuck was a man of many talents. He had a passion for gardening and loved it when the season came to start picking apples and blueberries. Chuck enjoyed his many years riding his motorcycle with friends. He especially enjoyed food, sharing meals, and was known as Betty Gacker for his baking abilities. It was his faith that sustained him and helped him through the roughest years. He proudly wore his tattoo for being sober since 2007 and was there to offer guidance to others in their struggle.
As a parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel, he enjoyed volunteering at the soup kitchen and was the first in line at a benefit to aid those in need. It was Chuck’s selfless attitude that he will be remembered most by. One of his favorite sayings was, "God gives you enough for that day, not too much, not too little, tomorrow's another day." To know Chuck, was to love Chuck. He will be missed by all.
We would like to thank the staff at Broome Oncology for their years of compassion and friendship to Chuck. You made his dreadful appointments so much more pleasant for him. A special thank you to his nurse Navigator Maty Mancini and NP Katie Ruskak, for their compassion and Heather Garvey for always making sure his belly was full! Thank you Carlina for all the support, love and help in his last days and to all his family and friends for the meals, the visits and the long-time friendships. Chuck knew how loved and blessed he was.
The family will receive friends and family at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 701 West Main Street, Endicott, NY on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 9:30 am until 10:45. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11 am, with a gathering afterward in the church hall.
