Christina “Chris” Mellema

Christina Binder Mellema, 67, of Endwell, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 13, 2018 after struggling with health issues for several years. She was predeceased by her mother, Evelyn H. Binder. She is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, James S. Mellema; Father, Alfred A. Binder, three sisters, Carol (Steve) Sweeney, Cindy (Bob) Whitaker and Cathy (Stacy) Pierce; three sisters in law, Olive Simons, Diane (Fred) Burton and Linda Lennon; twenty nieces and nephews. Chris was a graduate of Vestal High School and SUNY Albany with a degree in Math and Computer Science. She worked 26 years as a computer programmer for IBM. She loved vacationing in Manasquan, New Jersey with her husband and family.
The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 pm. A Graveside Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
