Donald Allen

Donald M. Allen, our much loved husband, father and grandfather, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015. He was born in Binghamton, NY on October 26, 1926, to Harry and Susie Allen. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Ruthie Coleman and Connie Craver and his brother, Earl Allen. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; sons, Gary (Leanna) Allen and David Allen; granddaughters, Christine Felton, Angela Basalla and Laura Szmal; great-granddaughter, Lenna Felton; grandson, Zacharry Allen; and his wife’s sons, Brian (Renee) Burtt and Terry (Anna) Burtt. He served in the US Army in the Pacific Theater during W.W. II. Donald was employed by IBM for 37 years, retiring in 1984. He greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 1 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Wednesday from 11:30 am until service time at 1 pm.
