Donald Bailey

Donald K Bailey, 94, went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 2, 2017, at the Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was predeceased by his parents, Walter, Sr. and Margaret Bailey; his first wife, Helen Paul Bailey; his second wife, Arletta McCarty Bailey; one brother and his wife, Walter Bailey, Jr and Claudia Bailey. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Lynette and Stephen Kellogg; three sons and their wives, Ronald and Marsheila Bailey, Gary and Shelly Bailey, Roscoe and Kaye Connell; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Donald was born on November 3, 1922 in Elmira, New York. He served in the Air Force during WWII in Guadalcanal and New Guinea as a P-38 and B-24 mechanic. He worked for IBM Owego and retired to Florida for the past several years. He enjoyed traveling, boating, fishing and family.
Services will be held at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott Friday, March 10, 2017. Viewing hour will be from Noon to 1pm Friday, followed by the Funeral Service at 1pm. Interment will be held at the Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following the service.
