Donna F. Silvanic

Donna passed into the loving arms of her parents Richard and Alice (Hawley) Foley on April 24, 2010 following a short illness. She was predeceased by her husband George Silvanic, friend and partner Gerry Bricker, and her beloved dog C.C. Donna was a generous, smart, loving and kind lady. Her greatest joy was creating wonderful meals for family and friends. She was a beautiful artist, loved reading books, writing stories and enjoyed her trips to the St. Lawrence River. We will all miss her beautiful smile, sense of humor and laughter. She worked at the telephone company for many years retiring ten years ago. Donna was a life member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Donna is survived by her brothers Richard (Linda) and family, Dennis and family, also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 11 am from Our Lady of Sorrows Church 157 Clark St., Vestal. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery Endicott. The family will receive friends at church Wednesday from 10 am until Mass time at 11 am. Expressions of sympathy in Donna’s memory may be made to Lourdes Hospice 4102 Old Vestal Road, Vestal, NY 13850
