Doris Dickinson

Doris I. Dickinson, 82, of Binghamton, passed away at Susquehanna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Binghamton, on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 after a short illness. Doris was predeceased by her parents, Rena and Edward Dickinson, and her son Richard W. Confer. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie and Jeff Bennett (Binghamton), son, Charles and Berna Confer (Washington) and daughter, Sherry Confer (Virginia), 2 grandchildren, Deanne and Joan Valdes (Georgia) and Anthony Sellitto (Pennsylvania), 2 great-grandchildren, Vanessa and Alex Valdes. Doris retired in 1997 after 46 years of nursing at Barnes Kasson Hospital, River Mede Manor and Lourdes Hospital.
The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott Sunday from 2 pm until 4:30 pm. The family will be gathering for a brief final prayer with Doris at 4:30 pm at the end of visitation hours. Friends and visitors are welcome to join them.
