Elizabeth A. Greene

Elizabeth (Betty) Greene, 82 of Sandy Pond, NY, formerly of Endwell, passed away on May 20, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse. She was predeceased by her husband Alton Greene, her daughter Kimberly Greene and her parents Celia (Root) Bryant and George Root. She is survived by her daughter Zandra (Burke) Molinaro and her husband Alan Zalbowitzof Naples, FL, daughter, Jacquelyn (Burke) Presley and husband Michael of Sandy Creek, NY, son Scott Greene and his wife Jeanie of Olney MD, and daughter Debra (Greene) Edick and husband Michael of Olney, MD. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Kevin Presley and Kimberly (Presley) Hitchcock, Elizabeth and Emily Greene and Ryan Edick and one great grandson Cooper Bryant Hitchcock. Her grandchildren were very special to her and gave her much joy. Elizabeth was a long time employee of the Union Endicott School District as a Library Clerk, a job she loved. She was a member of the Lacona VFW Ladies Aux. She will be remembered for her love of her family and neighbors and all of the wonderful times at her Sandy Pond Cottage. A private family service will be held at a later date in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott, NY. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation www.abcf.org
