Elizabeth “Betty” Shepard

Elizabeth C. “Betty” Shepard, 76, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Mercy House in Endicott, N.Y. She is predeceased by her husband, John Shepard lll, parents Lawrence and Christine Reid, sister Sandy and brother Lawrence. Betty is survived by her children Jodi Shepard-Cheatham, Middletown, Stephanie (James) Shepard-Glass, Binghamton, and John A. Shepard IV, Binghamton; siblings Ann Reid, Endicott, Sally Reid, Endwell, Edward Reid, Endicott; grandchildren Cristian, Cameron and Caden Cheatham; and Elizabeth and Logan Glass; along with several nieces and nephews and her dog, Cooper. She will be remembered fondly for her genuine smile and humor. She loved working in her garden and baking. Especially being able to share her pies and flowers with family and friends. The family would like to extend very sincere thanks to Lourdes Hospice and Mercy House for their outstanding programs.
The family will receive friends at Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, Saturday, March 17th from 1-2 pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 2 pm.
