Eugene W. Sullivan

Eugene W. (Sully) Sullivan, 84, of Endicott, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 6, 2013. He was predeceased by his wife, Frances M. (Rockwell) Sullivan. He is survived by his children, John Sullivan, Binghamton, Kathleen Suerken, Johnson City, Barbara (Jeffrey) James, New Milford, PA., Michael J. Sullivan, Endicott and Margaret Sullivan, Minnesota; eight grandchildren, John Jr., Joseph (Sara), Sean, Christopher, Colleen, Timothy (Carol), John and Jacob; great grandchildren, Aiden, Ashlynn, Lucas, and Lillanna; one brother, Daniel (Maryann) Sullivan, Endicott; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a retired IBM Corporation employee and a member of its Quarter Century Club. Gene was a member of American Legion Post 82 of Endicott and a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Navy. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. The joys of his life were his great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with the Reverend Father Clarence Rumble officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, NY. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Sunday from 2-4 pm and Monday from 10 am until service time at 11 am.
