Frances “Aggie” Leonard

Frances M. (Mulderig) Leonard, 95 years old, passed away at Absolut Care on 8/12/18 after a short illness. She was predeceased by her parents Leo and Margaret Mulderig, husband Roy, son Wayne, twin sister Margaret, sister Celia, brothers Jack and Charles. She is survived by David and Sharon Leonard, Maine NY, Dennis and Darlene Leonard, Endicott NY, Douglas and Karen Leonard, Endicott NY, and Donald Leonard of Little Meadows PA. Nine Grandchildren, Jennifer Leonard, and Kimberly Kopec (Chris), Elizabeth Gamache (Tyson) Denise Leonard (Joey), Michelle Brandt (Allen), Jessica Woodford (Todd), Emily Traver (Lloyd), Sarah Leonard, Amanda Legenhausen (Rick). Four Great Grandchildren, One Brother in Law, Roger (Mary) Leonard Davenport NY. Many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Frances , AKA “Aggie” was known for her big heart, her unconditional love for everyone in her family especially her grand and great grandchildren. She was fond of music, occasionally singing and dancing down the halls of the nursing home with her walker. Also noted was her Irish pride and temper. Frances was unbelievably lucky at nonsensical games of chance, such as Bingo and freshwater fishing, where she repeatedly proved that skill is not required in either of these endeavors. She will always be remembered as a classy lady with a great sense of humor, a devilish twinkle in her beautiful blue eyes, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She filled our lives with happiness, laughter, craziness and love that we can never repay fully. Life was cruel to take your memories these last years, but we have enough to keep you alive in our hearts forever. We want to give a heartfelt thank you to all the nurses and aides at Absoult Care who have cared for her during the last ten years.
Funeral Services will be held Friday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Ambrose Church at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Thursday from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
