Francis E. Mix

Francis E. Mix, 88, of Endicott, born in Canton, PA on July 30, 1924, passed away in Orlando, FL, April 23, 2013, unexpectedly. He was predeceased by his first wife Phyllis (Shaw) Mix and a daughter in law Lauri (Moulton) Mix. He is survived by his wife Janice (Theodore) Mix, Endicott; a daughter Kathleen (Gerald) Konen, Vestal; a son Roger Mix, Altamonte Springs, FL; grandchildren Jamey Konen, Vestal; Jodi (Mark) Holczyn, Manlius, NY; stepchildren Christopher (Bernadine) Wasser and daughter Sarah, all of Orlando, FL; Mark (Linda) Wasser and daughters Lauren and Krystin, Endicott and Cynthia Wasser, Orlando, FL. He was a retired IBM Corp employee, retiring after 38 years of service, a veteran of W.W. II, serving in the US Army and was a volunteer fireman and past chief for the Town of Vestal, for 55 years.Services will be held Thursday 12 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Thursday from 10 am until service time at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the Vestal Volunteer Fire Department.
