Fredrick P. Poklemba

Mr. Fred P. Poklemba, 86, of Endicott, passed away at his residence, Wednesday January 16, 2013.He was predeceased by his parents George and Julia Poklemba, a brother George Poklemba, and a sister-in-law Joyce Poklemba.He is survived by a daughter Rebecca A. Kilian, Lancaster, PA and a son Christopher Poklemba and his wife Virginia Bristol; three grandchildren Christelle and Theuns Kilian and Eleanor Ivy; two great grandchildren Kilian Santos, and Clyde Santos.Fred is also survived by a sister Dorothy Sorochinsky and brothers Elmer (Fanny) Poklemba and Thomas Poklemba Sr.; a sister-in-law Mary Poklemba;as well as several nieces and nephews.He was the owner of Mr. Freds in Endicott for 37 years, and previously owned Freddy Sunoco.He was a veteran of the US Navy, and a charter member of American Legion Post 1700, West Endicott.Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 11 am from the Allen Memorial Home 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott.Entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery Endicott.The family will receive friends at the memorial home on Monday from 5-8 pm.In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice
