George Lucia

George J. Lucia, 75, of Endicott, went to be with his Lord surrounded by his family Monday, April 13, 2015. He was predeceased by his parents Vincenzo and Maria Lucia; brothers Frank and Ralph Lucia; sisters Lena Fiacco and Emily Metzker. He is survived by one daughter Anisa Marie Bunn; one son Joseph Lucia; two sisters and brother in law Sue and Philip Brooks and Vinnie Brown; one brother and sister in law Bill and Linda Lucia; several nieces and nephews. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott. George was a 20 year Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the 1st Airborne Battle Group. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 112 of Binghamton.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 11 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 306 Odell Avenue, Endicott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at church Thursday from 10 am until Mass time at 11 am. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in memory of George may be made to Kalurah Shriners, 625 Dickson Street, Endicott, NY 13760.
