Gertrude “Trudy” Ottenbaker

Gertrude (Trudy) Ottenbaker, formerly of Detroit, MI, born July 14, 1934, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 5th at Willow Point Nursing Home, Vestal, NY. Passed on before her are her beloved husband, Larry Ottenbaker; parents, Gertrude and “JB” Kime; brothers, Harold (Louise) Kime, William (Delores) Kime, and Carl (Jean) Kime. Our hearts are hurting with loss, but joyful for our Mothers peace, her daughters, Cathleen (Dan) Cook Oas, Carol Jean Cook, Cheryl (Dan) Watkins Bystricky; grand and great grandchildren, Elisabeth (Brian) Rutman Oas, Skylar and Quinn Rutman; Nicholas (Carrie) Oas, Baby Girl Oas coming March of 2019. We are most grateful for the loving care given to our Mother by the entire staff at Willow Point especially North 2 as well as Lourdes Hospice. Thank You with all our Hearts.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with Reverend Mark Kimpland officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Endicott at a later date. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Saturday from 10 am until service time at 11 am.
