Harlan L. McKinney

Harlan L McKinney, 76, from Endicott NY passed peacefully in his home on June 20th 2025.
A faithful follower of Christ, Harlan is predeceased by his loving wife Cindy McKinney and his parents Gilbert and Ruth McKinney. Harlan is survived by his sister Ruth Gray and her husband Austin, their child Brett Gray, his wife Angela and their grandchildren Kelsey and Allen Spicer as well as Cam Gray. He is also survived by Cindy’s wonderful children, Kelly Coney-Woods, Kamie Merwin, Adam Coney, Ryan Coney, Aaron Coney and Trevor Coney.. As well as her grandchildren, Brenna and Josh, Dylan and Evan, Jessica, Mackenzie and Alexis., whom all played a large roll in his life and a myriad of extended family members including his beloved dogs Carlee and Careena.
Harlan is remembered as a loving husband, Navy veteran, cherished custodial staff at Union Endicott and Maine Endwell school districts and a member of ignite church. When not serving his community Harlan could be found fishing, donating food, and doting on his dogs! Harlan’s loved ones recall him as a generous man, in time and in heart. Eager to pass on fishing tricks, he participated in several fishing derbies at scout camps and public parks with his young loved ones. At each family gathering Harlan was quick to provide treats and dish out love to the numerous kitties in the home. While Harlan is absent from the body we find joy in knowing he is present with the lord and his loved ones. We look back on our many memories with great love and fondness.
Services will be held July,9th at 12-noon at Ignite Church located at 312 East Main Street, Endicott NY, 13760.
