Helen (Polupano, Seacord) Elterich, 88, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014, at the home of her loving granddaughter, Kim (Mark) Battista. Predeceased by her parents Alexander Polupano and Natalie Hinzchenko of West Haven, Connecticut. Also predeceased by her husband’s Wilbur Elterich and Franklyn Seacord, her sister Elizabeth Konareski and a niece Katherine Talviste. She worked as a weaver in West Haven during W.W.II until 1963 when she moved to Poughkeepsie, NY and worked for Schatz Federal Bearing and Shoprite until her retirement. She is survived by her daughter Karen Seacord Mulrooney and son-in-law John M. Mulrooney of Port Orange, FL. Her grandchildren: Kim (Mark) Battista and their children: Melissa Limbert, Cara and Rocco. Patricia Mulrooney and her children, Chaz, Scott (Janette) and Corey (Torie) of Binghamton. Colleen Mulrooney and her fiancé Steve Prislupsky of Endicott and Joseph (Renee)Mulrooney of Rochester, NY, and their children Griffin, Cecilia and Daniel. Donald Elterich of Hyde Park, NY. Her great-great grandchildren: Baleigh Mulrooney and Nick Yacko; Madison, Calob and Michael Limbert. Her sisters Eva Bellmore and Anna Perotti, her nephews Harold (Pat) Bellmore and Joseph Konareski, her nieces Patricia Bellmore Libero, Sandra Bellmore Tufano and Linda (Jack) Braddock, as well as many great nephews and nieces of Connecticut.
