Helen L. Hughs

Helen L. Hughs, 93, of Vestal passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert and family members. She is survived by her sister, Betty Warner, Washington State and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Vestal United Methodist Church, Vestal for over fifty years. Helen had a strong faith, was an avid reader and enjoyed the wildlife. Funeral and Interment services will be held Friday 3 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. Reverend Michael Willis will officiate. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Friday from 2 pm until service time at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Helen’s memory may be made to the Vestal United Methodist Church, 328 Main Street, Vestal, NY 13850.
