Helen A. Ruspantini, 96, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025.
Born in upstate New York on July 1, 1929, Helen grew up with two loving parents, two sisters, and a brother.
Helen was the devoted wife of the late Angelo J. Ruspantini. Their marriage was filled
with partnership, humor, and love.
Helen leaves behind her daughters: Suzanne (Tony) Putrino, Barbara Stevens, and Cassandra (Mark) Korinek. Helen was blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In later years
Helen wasn’t always able to spend time with them but she very much enjoyed hearing stories about her grandchildren and great grandchildren and learning of their growth and accomplishments.
We remember Helen as enjoying crafting and painting, always having at least one project going at all times. Her gardens were her sanctuary; she nurtured every bloom with a green thumb and delighted in watching the wildlife, particularly birds, that visited her yard. She had a big heart for caring for and protecting all animals, big and small.
We will remember her humor, her playfulness, and the way she could be as impatient as she was deeply compassionate — a combination that made her unmistakably her.
She savored life’s small pleasures, whether it was a Milky Way bar, chocolate peanut butter ice cream, or a McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish.
Helen’s family takes comfort in knowing she is at peace and is with Jesus.
