Janet Elizabeth Perry

Janet G. Perry (Gage) Age 95 passed away Thursday August 3rd 2026.

She was a long time resident of Apalachin NY. Janet was born in Buffalo NY on December 23 1930. Being predeceased by her parents Henry and Olive Gage nee Standart, brother Donald Gage and a loving husband for over 50 years Bertel T. Perry Jr.

Janet was the beloved mother of Bertel Perry III (Laurie), William Perry, Elizabeth Ludwig (Philip}, and Robert Perry (Mary). She was adored by nine grandchildren and five and a half great grandkids.

Janet was an active member of Park Terrace United Methodist Church until her health kept her away. She was a proud graduate of Russell Sage College with a BS in home economics. She was an avid reader, also an accomplished fiber artist and quilter, she made knitted caps and blankets for babies in hospitals as well as many heart pillows for cardiac patients. Janet was also a substitute teacher and a dental assistant among her many talents. Janet also enjoyed traveling. Taking several cruises and visiting China on two occasions. She was very excited to been able to take a ride aboard a US Navy submarine.

Janet loved her grandchildren entertaining them with games and art projects. She taught all of them about knitting, sewing, and cooking. She was everyone Grandmother.
