Jeanine Bernstein

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jeanine A. Bernstein, 65, of Endwell, NY. Jeanine passed away too soon, following an unexpected and aggressive cancer diagnosis. On Friday, June 13, 2025, with family at her side Jeanine was called home to The Lord in eternal peace. She is survived by her husband Steven Bernstein, daughter Samantha (Antonio) Larned of Schenectady, son Jacob Bernstein of Quogue, sister Janet Simiele of Solvay, and sister JoAnne (Douglas) Rougeux of Geddes.
Jeanine grew up in Solvay, NY, and after high school attended Powelson Business School in Syracuse, NY. She would later go to work for Endicott Johnson shoe company, eventually moving her to the Binghamton area. During her many years working for Endicott-Johnson’s she made countless friendships that would last her lifetime. After leaving E-J, she went to work for Maximum Security, a business she shared in partnership with her husband.
Jeanine also leaves behind a wealth of good friends. Her selfless nature and unwavering positivity touched all those around her. She knew how to appreciate and celebrate life every day and people were drawn to her for that.
Jeanine was a lover of animals, especially her two, “grand pups.”
She enjoyed going to concerts to sing and dance and was a lover of good food, good wine, and great company.

In celebration of Jeanine’s life, calling hours will be held on Monday, June 23rd from 4:00-6:00pm at Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, NY 13760.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 24th, 10:00am at Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis St, Endwell, NY 13760
