Joseph J. Greco, 68, of Endwell,NY, passed away at Binghamton General Hospital on December 16,2022 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Jeanne (White) Greco; father-in-law, Sebastian Lenzo; brother, Daniel Greco; sister, Anne (Greco) Davall; brother-in-law, Anthony Lenzo. Joe is survived by his loving wife, Gloria (Lenzo) Greco; sons, Jamie (Shanda) Greco, Christopher (Melissa) Greco, Nicholas (Jamie Leigh) Greco; mother-in-Law, Jean Lenzo; grandchildren, Macayla, CJ, Isabella, Nico, Lia, Cecelia Greco, Alexa, Robbie and Bella Malarkey; siblings, Kathryn(Bill) Bernardi, Linda Greco, Marty (Cheri)Greco; In-laws, Jerry (Diana) Lenzo , John Lenzo, Denise Lenzo; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins; aunts, Louise McDonald and Rose Marie Haus; uncle, Joe Mirra. Joe was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Endicott. He worked at IBM Endicott and Ametek Aerospace, then started his own Home Improvement Business. He spent many years volunteering as a coach for both CYO basketball and youth baseball where he had a positive impact on many athletes and built many great friendships. He was a quiet, easygoing man and a great role model. We would like to thank Dr. Lazarus Gerhing, Dr. Dharmesh Patel, and the wonderful staff at BGH Memorial floors 3 and 6 for the excellent care they provided. Our sincerest “Thank you” to Joe Mancini -his walking buddy, and all of our helpful neighbors.
A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday 11:30 am at St. Joseph’s Church, 207 Hayes Avenue, Endicott. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends Thursday at church from 10 am until Mass time at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Joe’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Mercy House or St. Joseph’s Church.
