Joseph M. Pisani

August 27, 1959 — May 30, 2025

Endicott

Joseph Michael Pisani, 65, of Endicott, NY, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, surrounded by his loving children, Amanda, Nicholas, and Kaitlyn.
Born on August 27, 1959, in Canton OH, Joseph was the son of Joseph and Lillian Pisani, both of whom predeceased him, along with his infant son, Joseph Sebastian Pisani.
Joseph leaves behind his beloved children: daughter Amanda Rose Pisani, son Nicholas Pisani, and daughter Kaitlyn Bloss (Scott) and grandchildren Bridget, Thomas and Mackenzie. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Beth and Daniel Schofield, as well as the mother of his children, Mary Caffrey. Joseph was deeply loved by his extended family, including his niece Amy Lindsey (Joe), nephews Matthew Schofield (Kimberly), Phillip Schofield (Meghan), and niece Olivia Pasquale (Richard). His legacy is further carried on by his adored great-nieces and nephews, Marco, Natalie, Elena, McKenna, Thomas, and Sammy Schofield, and Santino, Dominic, and Angelo Pasquale, who all looked up to him with great affection.
A passionate sports fan, Joe's loyalties were firmly with the Yankees, Giants, Knicks and, of course, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He was an enthusiastic participant in pick-up and league sports, especially enjoying time with family and friends. He also found joy in coaching youth sports, where his positive attitude and love for the game made a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Joe’s warmth and humor were his trademarks. He was known for his engaging personality, always eager to listen to others' stories and make them laugh. He was the life of every gathering, often entertaining with his renowned impersonations. Above all, Joe’s greatest joy was his family—especially the deep, unconditional love he had for his children. He took immense pride in watching them grow and flourish, always supporting them with unwavering devotion. Sunday dinners at his sister’s house were his favorite tradition, and he never missed a family gathering. Joe was always the first to arrive and the last to leave, making sure to remind you of the last time he saw you, ensuring you always knew how much he cherished the time he spent with loved ones.
Professionally, Joe worked for many years at the NYS Insurance Fund before becoming a "Red Coat" at the Broome County Arena. He later retired from Broome County Parks, where he continued to serve his community with dedication and a smile.
Joe’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to know him. His generous heart, radiant smile, and unwavering love will be missed more than words can express.
Visitation hours will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Church (300, Odell Ave. Endicott, NY), on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025 from 9:30 – 11:00 AM with funeral mass to follow.
