Joseph “Joe” Rita

Joseph A. Rita, 56 of Endicott, died at his residence unexpectedly, Satyrday, February 9, 2019. He was predeceased by his parents Alex and Marie Rita, Endicott. Joe is survived by his wife Joy Rita, Binghamton NY, son Alex C. Rita, Rochester NY, daughter Alyssa Rita, Binghamton NY, and a brother Alex Rita (Julie) Eden Prairie, MN. He was a Union-Endicott High School graduate, Joe participated in football and baseball. After high school Joe attended Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was a proud father who loved his family. In the latter part of his life, he took many trips to Minnesota to visit his brother where he enjoyed being on the lake, fishing and cooking Italian family recipes. He was loved by many. His charm and wit will be missed.
Funeral Services will be held Friday 6:30 pm at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main St., Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Friday from 5:30 pm until service time at 6:30 pm.
