After fighting a lung disease, God decided that it was time for Joyce to be with her parents, Norman and Doris in Heaven. She is survived by her loving husband, Greg. 2 children, Chris and Jason Leipfert. 2 Grandchildren, Anne Marie and Ricky Leipfert. Her brother, Raymond (wife - Gloria) and sister, Barbara Hayden (husband - Bruce).
Joyce loved animals, especially her many cats and her goats, that she milked, while she had a farm.
She was so talented when it came to handwork (knitting, crocheting, tatting) and took special joy in hand quilting. She made unique hand quilt blankets for her sons, grandchildren and even an elaborate, king size quilt for Greg's parents on their 50th anniversary.
Her baking skills were a joy to all of her family and friends. Lasagna and dinner rolls that were loved by all, even if she couldn't eat them due to her Celiac condition.
Joyce never felt she has academic smarts but she had 'everyday' wisdom that set her apart from all others. She was a wise, kind, beautiful lady and we will miss her every day of our lives.
Services will be held 1 pm, Monday, April 13 at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. Burial will be in Quaker Lake Cemetery, Quaker Lake, PA. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Monday, April 13 from 12 pm until service time at 1 pm.
