Kathryn Cox

Kathryn C. Cox, 97, of Vestal, passed away peacefully with her grandson Chris by her side Tuesday, June 17, 2014. She is predeceased by her husband, Merton; daughter, Barbara; son-in-law, John; brother, Kenneth; sister, Theresa. Kathryn is survived by her two grandsons, Chris (Carol), John (Maria); three great-grandchildren, Christina, Carissa and Barbara; brother, John; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Kathryn was a 30 year volunteer at the Vestal Senior Center were she enjoyed taking trips and companionship. Her fondest times were spent camping and fishing with her husband Merton in the Adirondaks. Fish Creek was her home away from home.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 10 am at the Allen Memorial Home 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with Deacon Dale Crotsley of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Saturday from 9 am until service time at 10 am. Expressions of sympathy in Kathryn’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
