Kenneth Tobey

Kenneth H. Tobey 80, of Apalachin, NY passed away at Lourdes Hospital on Sunday, December 25, 2016. He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Beulah Tobey and a sister-in-law Shirley Hirst. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Barbara A. Tobey, Apalachin; daughter, Diane Obregon, Newark Valley, NY; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Melody Tobey, Newark Valley, NY; six grandchildren, Taylor,Sommer and Cassidy Tobey, Jordan, Madison and Andrew Obregon; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Linda and Al Tarbox, Binghamton, James and Penney Hirst, Apalachin. Ken was a retired I.B.M. employee, retiring in 1990 after 34 years of service. He served in the Marine Reserves. A avid outdoor’s men he loved playing softball, hunting and fishing. Always driving a nice car he was very proud of the car’s he owned. He enjoyed bowling and the last game he bowled was a 300.

Private Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of Ken’s family. Pastor William Prentice will officiate. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott.
