Kent B. Wurth, 89, passed away at Mercy House of Endicott, NY on Sunday, May 17, 2026.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years, Alyce (Coleman) Wurth and his children:
Marilyn (Randy) Brooke, Christopher Wurth, Kevin (Karyn) Wurth, Susan Knight, Matthew (Deena) Wurth, and several grand children and great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews, also, a sister-in-law Bonnie Tewksbury and brother-in-law Jim Coleman.
Kent was a 30-year employee of IBM Owego Federal Systems and held fulfilling part-time positions during retirement. He enjoyed everything Adirondack, hiking, winery excursions, dining out, and over the years the devotion of 11 canine companions.
Calling hours will be on Saturday May 23 from 1-2:30pm at Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main Street, Endicott with a short committal service to follow. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Mercy house, 212 N. Mckinley Ave Endicott NY 13760 are welcome or an animal charity of your choice.
