Kerrie “Kerr Bear” Ann Savage-Manger

Kerrie Ann “Kerr Bear” Savage-Manger, 40, of Endicott, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Saturday October 19, 2013 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. She is pre deceased by her mother, Judy Bryski-Banker; grandparents, Margaret and Clarence Savage, Stanley and Emma Bryski; cousin, Keith Evans; aunt, Suzanne Evans. Kerrie is survived by her husband, Robert Manger; father, Clement Savage; sister, Kristie (William) Zenzayer; stepson, Ryan; brother in law, Mike Bobik; aunts, Beth Savage, Andrea Savage, Kathy (Pat) McMahon, Linda (Robert) Ahrendt and Michele Dobransky; nieces and nephews, Zack, Emilee, Ben and Madyson Bobik, Chloe Zenzayer; cousins, Kim, Anna, Stephanie, Liza, Rachel, Aaron and Brian; brother in law, Mike (Cathy) Manger; sister in law, Michele (Dennis) Prozeralik; beloved dog, Sweet Pea. Kerrie was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott. She was a graduate of Union-Endicott High School and was employed by Aria on the Ave. The family would like to say thank you to Dr. Mirza, Dr. Miller and all the caring staff of Wilson Hospital South ICU, especially nurses, Nick, Carla, Kristin and Caitlin for their dedicated time helping Kerrie. Thank you also to Union Emergency Squad, Endicott Fire and Police, Wilson Hospital Emergency room staff and all family and friends that gave of themselves, without any hesitation, to give their support. Special thank you to Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman at Broome County Mental Health, for the many years of helping Kerrie. She always worried that one day you wouldn’t be there for her. “You always were”.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St Anthony of Padua Church at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Thursday from 4-7 pm. Kerrie lives on in Heaven and also here on earth. She gave of herself by being an organ donor. A gift of life to many others. So with this in mind, in lieu of any material gifts, give of yourself and do something for someone in need, in Kerrie’s memory.
