Laurilla J. Laszewski

Laurilla J. Laszewski, 94, of Endicott, passed away unexpectedly, July 4, 2013 at Wilson Hospital in Johnson City. Laurilla is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Joseph A. Laszewski, her grandson Timothy (Kim) Wessler and their son Logan (FL), granddaughter Kelly Hurst and son Zachery (FL); her brother Carlton Rogers (CA), sister Marion Huddleston (KY), stepchildren Kathy (Michael) Buchak, Endicott and their son David (Amanda) Buchak and twins; Joey Laszewski, Newark Valley, and her brothers-in-law Francis and Raymond Laszewski. Laurilla was predeceased by her parents Lynn and Alleen Rogers (NY), and daughter Carol Ann Bailey (FL). After moving from Truxton, NY to Endicott, Laurilla was employed by Endicott Johnson, IBM, and Transformers. Upon retirement Laurilla and Joe spent time listening and dancing to polka music with Bill Flynn, dining out, gardening, and travel. She especially loved their trip to Poland. She was also a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 82 and Elks Auxiliary #1977 in Endicott. Laurilla had a lovely smile and kind word for everyone she met, and will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 10:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Monday evening from 5-7 pm.
