Lloyd Uhler

Lloyd E. Uhler, 80, of Vestal, died Monday, March 17, 2014. He is survived by one daughter and son in law, Linda and Al Rossie; one son, David M. Shrum and family; one sister and brother-in-law, Edna and Harold Matolka; and one special nephew, William and Gretchen Uhler. Lloyd was a lifelong resident of Vestal and a graduate of Vestal High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce serving in the Korean War. He was manager of Loblaw’s of Vestal and a former employee of I.B.M. Corporation. Lloyd was an inaugural member of the Vestal Volunteer Emergency Squad and also delivered Meals on Wheels for ten years. He was a passionate fan of NY Giants football and his favorite NASCAR driver Jimmy Johnson.
Services to be held Sunday, March 23, 2014 at 2 pm at Court of Time in Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
