Margaret Decker

Margaret T. Decker, 91, of Endicott went to be with her Lord from Ideal Senior Living Center Monday, April 10, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband William A. Decker; a daughter Christine M. Decker and a granddaughter Jenny Decker. She is survived by two sons and daughters in law Jesse and Donna Decker, Rochester, NY; William and Peggy Decker, Little River, SC; three daughters and sons in law Patricia and William MacLean, McGraw, NY; Teresa Decker, Endicott, NY; Barbara and Ronald Davis, Corning, NY; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; three brothers and sisters in law Richard and Mary O’Donnell, Johnson City, NY; Gerald and Joanne O’Donnell, Johnson City, NY and James O’Donnell, Norwich, NY; many nieces; nephews and cousins. She was a member of St. Ambrose Church, Endicott, a retired I.B.M. Owego Corporation employee and a member of the Quarter Century Club. Margaret was an avid volunteer for UHS, St. Ambrose Church and AARP. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, cross stitching and reading. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the joy of her life.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Ambrose Church at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Monday from 4-7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in Margaret’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 401 Hayes Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760.
