Mary Rose Mahony

Mary Rose Maykulsky-Mahony, 98, of Stanton, CA, passed away peacefully to be in her Heavenly Home on July 21, 2020. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Joseph F. Maykulsky of Endwell, NY, and her second husband, Raymond W. Mahony, of Fountain Valley, CA; her sons, Joseph and John; her parents, Cyrill and Rose Kotek; her sisters, Lena Carroll and Anne Ziemba; her brothers, Cyril, Stanley and Bert Kodey. She is survived by her loving daughter, Marilyn Neylan; her grandchildren, Lisa and Mike Follis, Kelley and Brett Smith, and Kristen and Scott Dowling; her great-grandchildren, Jake and Brooke Follis, Paige and Cole Smith, and Ella, Jackson and Olivia Dowling. Mary is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Betty Kodey; her daughter-in-law, Pamela Maykulsky; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mary was a stockbroker at Instant Funds, Inc, and worked at General Electric for many years. She is a graduate of Union-Endicott High School, was an active member of St. Casimir Church and its choir, and involved with the Czechoslovak Moravian Club. Mary enjoyed her GE lunch bunch group, travelling, hiking, bowling, golfing, water aerobics and her dogs. Most of all, in her golden years, she loved spending time with her sisters and playing cards. Mary will be greatly missed by her many friends and beloved family.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Joseph’s Church, 207 Hayes Avenue, Endicott at 10 am on Saturday, August 7, 2021. Burial will be at Maine Cemetery following the mass. The family will receive friends at St. Joseph’s Church Saturday from 9-10 am.
