Marylou Curry 92, of Endicott, was welcomed to the kingdom of heaven with our lord and savior on, May 7th, 2025, at Wilson Hospital in Johnson City, NY. She is survived by her two loving daughters; Cynthia Curry of Endicott (NY), Sherry Knitter and her husband Kazimierz Knitter of Palm Harbor (FL), and her loving son, Jeffery Curry of Kentucky. With several grandchildren; Cheyann, Chaunee, Michelle, Jennifer, Jonathan, Joshua, and William, as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Marylou loved to dance in her younger years, she was a strong advocate for social justice, and enjoyed planting flowers such as diuranium's, and petunias'. Marylou was a graduate of Union-Endicott High School class of 1950 and helped her woman classmates stay connected throughout the decades, by setting up monthly luncheons as a thank you for their friendships. She was an intelligent businesswoman, owning many properties throughout the Southern Tier, and a longtime member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Endicott, NY. As a truly loving, and nurturing soul who was known and loved by many, she had lasting impacts on not only her family, and her friends, but her communities' lives. Marylou has returned to the loving embrace of her late husband, William J. Curry Jr, who passed in 2006. Marylou and William were married for 56 years living, truly high school sweethearts who loved each other deeply, now are reunited once again in everlasting peace. While Marylou is no longer with us physically, the love and care she shown will be forever in the hearts of those she knew.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 14 at 11 am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 300 Odell Ave Endicott. The family will receive friends at church prior to the mass from 10–11 am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.
