Matthew S. Bedford of Endwell New York, passed away peacefully on 4/2/2026. He was 41 years old.
Matthew, known as Matt to his friends, was an avid hockey and lacrosse player growing up, he attended Maine-Endwell High School and played for the school teams as well as his club hockey team, the Binghamton Badgers. Matthew found a love of reading as an adult and could always be found with a novel or comic book close at hand.
Matthew is survived by his parents Jeff and Debbie Bedford, his sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and John Kokinda, his niece and nephew Morgan and John, as well as many extended family members. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Richard (Dick) and Beverly Bedford and his maternal grandparents, Raymond (Ray) and Betty Jo (BJ) Campbell.
The family is gathering in private and we ask in lieu of flowers you make a donation to your local Hockey or Lacrosse associations in Matthew’s honor.
