Patricia Sharon Simons

It is with profound sorrow that I report Patricia Paddy Simons (Shamulka), died on 10 /21/2026 as a result of complications from Multiple Sclerosis, which she valiantly fought for 56 years. Paddy will be missed by her husband, Gary, and the loves her life… her three dogs, EmmaJoy, Leah, and Katie.
She LOVED, and will be missed also, by her “niece” Sheri Sierzant, her husband Joe, and their sons Mark, and JP; her nephew Philip Schuessler, his wife Caitlin, and their children, Philipp and Anna Marie. She was especially fond of their parents Sally and Phillip wh Schuessler. She loved and will also be remembered by her loyal friends of 60 years Jane and Andre Theriault, and her friends of 54 years, Rosemary “Missy” Goetz and her husband Larry. Once you made a friend of Paddy, as you can see, you made a friend for life.
She also is survived by her brother Michael Shamulka, his wife Susan and their daughter’s, and their children.
Nadine and Nancy (her cousins) and their husbands, are remembered for their delicious holiday meals, something she always looked forward to.
Paddy would not forgive me if I didn’t thank Dr. Kristen Robillard and Heather Massey who have cared for Paddy for as long as I remember.
And, for more than the past year, her “friends” and care giver Jody Stephens, and caring nurse Sarah Cote. Without these two angels, she wouldn’t have lived this long.
There will be no funeral arrangements or calling hours at Paddy’s request.
Cremation services are to be provided by Allen Memorial Home.
