Robert P. Brooks

Robert P. Brooks, Jr.,67, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 20, 2013 at his home. He is pre deceased by his parents, Robert P. Brooks, Sr. and Alice C. Brooks. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, David and Patricia Brooks, Berkshire, NY and his sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Tom Ellerson, Whitney Point, NY.He is also survived by four nieces, two nephews, an aunt, several cousins and close friends.Bob was a 1963 graduate of UE High School and attended Broome Community College.He was a retired employee of Ascension Health at Lourdes Hospital. A man of many hobbies, he enjoyed spending time hiking in the Adirondacks, training and showing his beloved Malamutes and collecting model trains. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 10 am from St. Ambrose Church 203 Washington Avenue, Endicott. The family will receive friends at church Tuesday from 9 am until Mass at 10 am. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in Bob’s memory may be made to the Broome County Humane Society, 2 Jackson Street, Binghamton, NY 13903
