Robert Hotaling of Endicott, 83 years of life, passed away on May 20th 2013 peacefully after a period of declining health. He is survived by his wife Joyce andtheir children Randy Pierce, Jeff and Terry Pierce (Dawn, Greg, Tara, Kyle), Alain Jacon (Helen and John), Brenda and Scott Costello (Caitlin and Allison), Steven and Lisa Hotaling (Nicholas), Pam and Paul Memos (Stephanie and Zack) and 8 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 sisters; Lois Bennett and Bev (Patrick) Sweeney also sister in law Penny (Robert) Hawthorne. He graduated from Binghamton North High School and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired from IBM Endicott as a toolmaker after 34 years of service. He was also a member of the Masonic Temple and Kalurah Shrines. Before his health declined, he enjoyed golf, bowling and monthly poker with his “buddies”. Funeral Services will be held Friday 6:30 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with the Reverend Jose Valencia officiating. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Friday from 5 pm until service time at 6:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Shriners Children Hospital and/or Union Volunteer Emergency Squad.
