Robert E. Hunt Jr.

Robert E. Hunt Jr, 79 of Vestal, NY passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Sunday, March 1, 2026. He was predeceased by his parents Robert & Elva Hunt Sr and his daughter Teresa Slick. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Linda Hunt, his children, Bobby Phelps, Jimmy Wheeland (Marya), Gina (Terry) Zacharias, Tammy (Thomas) Wyskowski, Ronald (Regina) Hunt, his 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and special friend Rick.
Bob worked for Temco Services Industries Inc for several years until his retirement in 2006. He was a member of Red Jacket Yacht Club on Cayuga Lake, where he enjoyed spending his summers and making new friends. Bob also enjoyed his weekly gatherings with the guys for Manhattan’s.
The family would like to thank Guthrie Hospice for their care and support in his final days. Bob’s memorial service will be for his family per his final wish request.
